The Myth of Progress
Get mad and stay mad until you get what you want.
Be miserable and stay miserable - until someone/thing comes inside, meets you where you are, reassures you, bails you out, fixes you, or the world changes so you no longer feel alone in suffering.
It's the myth of progress and it never succeeds as we plan and expect. Not in this life. Not in this world. There is one true plan and it is not ours for making. There is one battle and it is beyond this life and this world. It is spiritual.
Letting go, not/less taking more on, like the Serenity Prayer says, is really the only coping mechanism there is. The only true freedom. Every gospel will tell you so. But don't forget to Like and Share...
- You are not separated and alone. Energy, frequency, vibration. Life is not happening to you. It is happening with you and without you.
- Fear is an illusion.
- God (All, I Am) is fate, destiny (Amor Fati), but mind, like a time compressed photographic eye to the hurricane of God's every possibility consciousness, fulfills perfect, infinite will as reality.
- Ego, the serpent demon, is the enemy of eternal life, and transgression the fruit of it.
- Thought breeds the unloving potential of prejudice. Think to live, but Choosing Life!
Relax! Doubt and/or nature always creeps in. And that's the end of the big bad wolf in every story, until the next one. Until the alpha and omega prophesy is fulfilled, on earth as it is in heaven.
This is the
Gospel of Thomas, from the Nag Hammadi, and papyrus dating implies it could be as old as 1st
or 2nd century AD. As old as first writing of the gospels. What it describes
is a startling biological and material (iron and clay) melded reality like
that media presents today. Is it apocalyptic? Yes, if life is only a nature
cycle, beginning with first breath and ending with a life story. No, if the
kingdom is more than life, as we know it. No, if each elect person experiences
eternal resurrection
transcending biological and material reality, as every follower of Christ
Jesus knows by heart.
(22) Jesus saw some infants who were being suckled. He said to his
disciples: These infants being suckled are like those who enter the
kingdom. They said to him: If we then become children, shall we enter the
kingdom? Jesus said to them: When you make the two one, and when you make
the inside as the outside, and the outside as the inside, and the upper as
the lower, and when you make the male and the female into a single one, so
that the male is not male and the female not female, and when you make
eyes in place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in
place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then shall you enter [the
kingdom].
Now, I, the perfect Forethought of the All, transformed myself into my
offspring.
I existed first and went down every path.
