You can't spell concern without CERN
Some people say their ear ringing and strange dreams have stopped. But last night I woke up from another vivid dream about life in prison world: Financial Industrial Complex (FIC), Military Industrial Complex (MIC), Technology Industrial Complex (TIC) and Death/Medical Industrial Complex (DIC).
In the dream, I went to the dining hall alone, which was rare, and couldn't find my dorm walking back afterward. All the buildings seemed slightly different than I remembered and many were under renovation. I asked everyone I could along the way, but only dogs from the above average houses lining the unwalled campus were friendly. There were paper sacks full of waste food in an alley and I remember thinking: These dogs must eat pretty well. I went into one of the buildings and finally stumbled upon an administrator I knew, working a side job with the renovations, confessing I didn't know exactly which building to return to. That's when he held up my scorecard, printed with meaningless vital statistics, but on the bottom right was a hand written summary note. It said:
Then two enormous female workers piled onto me and said they just wanted to love me. It was suffocating, so I woke up, basically knowing the salient reality of these astral experiences is their necessity to demonstrate that my life must phase shift from its former, comfortable materialism, sexuality, and spiritual naivete to evil and lack of empathy to suffering in the world.
Mask on or mask off, most of our choices cannot withstand the scientific method requiring proof for the operative hypothesis. Even manipulators, controllers and magicians (bosses) are products of the same contrived culture, economy and environment. We all (even Iranians shouting Death To America!) live under one, same, increasingly technological monoculture and the only real differentiation is position/status within its class hierarchy. Ted Kaczynski was a murderous sociopath, but he was right about that.
