The apostles cast lots to pick a 12th to replace Judas Iscariot... It just bothers me when semantics (e.g. divination versus discernment) gets bogged down by connotation.

- Truth, Divination: revelation, discernment, discovery
- Solution, Codification: covenant, law, agreement, principle, program, symbol, recipe, aesthetic, random
What I'm trying to emphasize here is that our struggle lies in the living, afflicted, imprecise, precarious, sinful, artful, #3 realm of garnering intelligence. We anthropomorphize cats?! We anthropomorphize AI and AGI?! Oh, well. God bless capitalism... Perspective comes from knowing we can, still roll dice, turn cards, pray, code, comply, question and hopefully forgive each other for all the right, imperfect but perfecting, reasons.
