What we have done is traded jobs for profit. The jobs have moved to China. The capability erodes in the U.S. and grows in China. That’s very destructive. That is a big reason why the U.S. is becoming more and more polarized between a small, very rich class and an eroding middle class. The people who get the profits are very different from the people who lost the wages.”

Next time you put your hand over your heart and recite “The Pledge”, consider what our glorious “leaders” have done.  Consider their loyalty to you and their country.  Then you may understand why weirdos like me (e.g. OWS) harbor not much more than rising contempt for the country (and system) of our birth.

And anyone that votes for more of this (neoliberal/free-trade/race-to-the-bottom) mass destruction is just sick in the head!

And if you still think “I’ll be OK.  I have money.  I trade stocks and bonds.  I have a good job.  I own property...” then consider this: the ant—in a world of grasshoppers—gets eaten all the same!   This also explains why billionaires are investing in sub-orbital technology—knowing that one day space may be their only refuge--from us.

India/China/Syria today are templates for our future tomorrow.  And if you still think your vote will save you?  Note that India is a parliamentary democracy and Syria, like the United States, is a republic.
