Reality
The median age in the U.S. is 39.5. As an older person, I take comfort in that. The mechanism of reality tells us the median, the average, or the outlier, depending on the algo it assigns. It broadcasts blue or red waves as needed. Tells us we're enlightened whenever we've been typing spiritual thoughts again... I've come to see reality as a psychological stabilization bubble designed by the world and the mind to contain/suffice most of us, just enough, like an under oath jury with enough evidence to reach a verdict that doesn't end in mistrial.
If there is some grand conspiracy, it's that there's too much risk in effectuating instability by conspiracy theory. If we are evolved, we're evolved to accept that some Invisible Hand, generally, takes care of things. Is that God or grooming? Whatever its label, the intelligence of its design is enough to get the vast majority out of bed in the morning. Like the Waiting for Godot quote (from a prior episode): I can't go on. I'll go on, some thing is rarely ever as wrong as it needs to be to fight or flee. Self/reality perception is our earliest memory, but it always ends in some form of resignation bumping us along on a mostly quieting road to mortality. That's my working definition of reality, and no matter how ungrateful I can be, I'm grateful for it.
