The Art of Promoting Celestial Primacy
Precession of the equinoxes, polar and plasma vortex shifting, God clock?
There's
a reason every epic story begins in arrogance and ends in humility.
History
rhymes like a bird's morning song because liberty can't all be attributed to
fear of mortality.
People forget that U.S. unemployment peaked at 10.8% under Reagan, the Gipper of his generation. The left advocates demoralizing change which in turn enables the right to escalate moral backlash and consolidate State and corporate techno economic power. It's true in every nation. Politics and government are weaponized to paper over perpetual historical cycles transitioning from ordained to economic monarchism and back again. The vox populi is promised a classless society by the left and a mono-class society on the right, but its real obligations (income, property, family, safety) never change. And when anxiety to meet these obligations rises, as now, as again, people clamor for divine or secular resets, for another, newer chance at liberty or death to prior sin. The unalienable right to liberty never dies. It isn't a flaw, but rather an inevitable human vulnerability to wipe memory in favor of meeting the new boss.
Revelation is knowing all the ideas and stories have failed, have always failed, will always fail in the face of celestial primacy. Obsession with the mythical event horizon is civilization's faraway and all-too-human quest for immortality, but it's undermined by waking up today and realizing you're still breathing and your cat, not the lion-faced dragon, is better at wagging its tail than we are.
